The expression of a lifestyle change begins with an encounter that directly transforms our way of engaging life experiences. Unlike other things an encounter with God is a transformation process that does not merely deter you like an aversion or a manipulation might. God actually imparts to you abilities that empower you to engage life with a whole different set of competencies. Like other things, our confidence in God influences how we think, the decisions we make, and how we act in life. This said, You discover you have gifts after you truly believe in the one who has given them to you. For example, an employer may hire a person to do a management job, but the person only becomes a true manager after they have accepted their role as manager and begun to operate in the duties of a manager.
