Single Parents, when you keep your children from their other parent you create thoughts, feelings in your children that are hard for them to interpret. Without guidance or intervention these perceptions lead to behaviors that have consequences. Your grudge that you have with your ex spouse is not worth the damage it could do to the development of your child.... 

Stop the hate, start collaborating and learning to be reasonable before your anger becomes your child's against you when you need them most. 

Your child's way of relating to others begins with what they observe at home. Effective parenting skills aren't always acquired by birth right, they are objective, learned skills that can be developed to overcome the difficult feelings that accompany divorce, separation, and break up.  Take advantage of counseling and parenting skills offered by Emerging Christians to re-claim your child's future and resolve the emotional challenges that have made engaging one another so difficult.  There is hope.
